Football Season comes to an end!!

yesterday sam and mason each played in the championship game in their football tournaments..... spencer county was so excited about the games that they gave our team convoy a police escort out of town!!! people pulled over on the road and honked and waved as we went by in our decorated cars!!! and the police were posted at every light so we didnt have to stop and get seperated!! it was sooo incredible!!! at one point mason turned to me and said "mom - my heart is beating like 200 yards"!!! and even though it didnt make any sense at all - i knew exactly what he meant!! sam did his best job ever at sitting the bench...... poor kid only got to go in on the last play of the game........ he played corner back and the play went the other way - so he didnt get any action at all....... mason played his heart out!!!!!! he was incredible at center, handed the ball off like a pro and blocked like a brick wall!!! as nose guard he pushed and pushed and PUSHED!!! he got through the line quite a bit - making one huge tackle that the entire world felt - i think there were even after shocks!!!

but sadly both sam and mason's team ended up taking second place....... an honor that today sounds pretty good - but yesterday brought tears to their eyes!!

but to dear old mom - all three of my football hero's take first place!!!! great season to all three of my #16 Cooper football players!!!

sam's birthday

sam turned 7 yesterday!! wow !! where did the time go??? seven years?? im thankful for each and every day i have had with sam-bo - he's a great kid!!! Happy Birthday Sam!!!

happy halloween

i LOVE halloween!!! fall is my favorite favorite season!!! i love the cooler weather and the fall colors!! halloween to me means visiting with neighbors, kids having fun and everyone laughing and smiling!!!

the kids had a great time trick or treating this year....... the weather was perfect - 68 degrees - so we didnt even have to wear jackets!! AND we had all of the cul de sac kids and mom's over for dinner before we left for trick or treat!! it was the perfect night!!!

new fall look

mom is always the last one to get new clothes around here....... however since i dont have any clothes that fit me anymore...... i had to get some clothes!!!! so here i am in one of my new fall outfits!!! pretty fun!!!

princess room

little miss brynn finally got some bedroom furniture!!!......

she hasnt had a bed frame or dresser since she was born, so when i saw a discontinued sale at pottery barn kids i jumped at the opportunity!!! she got a new sleigh bed, a new trundle for underneath and a new dresser....... plus you can see her little tea party table and chairs she got a month or so ago!!! so now she has the perfect little princess room!!!

the littlest ballerina

little miss brynn started ballet classes on friday.... she was just sooo excited!!! the class seemed like it was created just for brynn!!! they did princess walks and put on princess crowns and did princess toes and princess marches and the wore all pink!!!!! brynn was in heaven!!!!

my neighbors decided that we needed a break and that they wanted to make us dinner, so we could hang out and just relax!! and that is exactly what we did - hang out and relax and just have fun!!! here are some pictures of all the kids and another one of the moms!!
