Im losing weight!!

on nov 4th of last year i started a huge, intense, lose weight campaign...... i was doing sooo good until the gall bladder surgery......... that was a big set back..... however im happy to tell you im back on track and losing weight again...... in fact im down 35 pounds since i started!!! yahoo!!!! here are a couple of pics of me from the past couple of days........ the second picture is kinda goofy...... but i thought it showed you a good 'body' shot.....

finally recovered......

man, has it been a long time since i have posted something on my blog!!! after the car accident we were in, i had gall bladder surgery and the recovery was much much harder than i expected!!!

since the begining of the summer....... we have been working on transforming our backyard...... cleaning, staining and sealing the decks, building pergolas over the decks, moving the outdoor shed to a better location in the yard, and filling in the yard and leveling it..... now we are busy growing grass on the newly poured topsoil in the yard..... it just looks incredible!!! i wish everyone could come over and sit outside with us and enjoy it!!!

daniel - four days later

daniel is really healing up good!!! he's not sore much anymore...... and the black and blue eye is starting to go away already...... even the gash is healing well!!!!!

anybody know what will happen with his eye?? will that go away or will it always look like that??

cookie bouquet

last night daniel football team came over and delivered a cookie bouquet to him - and they all said they hoped he healed up quick!!! what a nice thing to do!!!!

our battle with a tree...

me and my oldest boy daniel were in a horrible car accident last night.... we both walked away from it.... but we are in very bad shape and my van is completely totaled..... we were run off the road by a car in our lane and when i hit the wet grass i swerved and had to correct - i could have steered out of it but i hit wet gravel next and my back right tire got stuck on the lip of the road and it threw us directly into a tree......
the dashboard, floor of the van and the tree all ended up in the passenger seat with my boy.... our shoes were thrown off of us completely.....the windshield and passenger windows were completely busted out and daniel was thrown halfway out the window, only his seat belt kept him in the van...... his legs were stuck under the dashboard and we had to pull him out.
daniel is really banged up...... we had to pick glass out of his face and tongue - 3/4 of his face are completely black and blue and swollen - his shoulder where his seat beat was is really hurt and his mouth is tore up pretty bad....... one hand is just torn up and punctured really bad......
im not bad at all compared to daniel - my knees are pretty bad and my hands are just horrible...... my right pointer finger is probally broken but i dont want to get into a vehicle and go anywhere just now....... so it's just going to have to stay like it is right now..... the whole right side of my body is bruised and cut up and im walking pretty slow.......
